My Teaching Method
My method is oral-based to allow students to become comfortable with the language in a short period of time. There is a lot of oral practice and opportunities for conversation in intermediate-advanced levels. Students' motivation is often to travel to France or for work reasons, thus it is important that they become comfortable with spoken French. In the classroom, classes are conducted in French as much as possible. Outside of the classroom, I recommend at least 1-2 hours of homework, including listening to CDs, French radio or internet, etc. Helpful resources are recommended during class and you also find them listed on this site.

A bientot,

Professeur Tina Schaefer
